Welcome to OUR classroom!

Dear Students and Parents,

Hello! My name is Mr. Jackson. I will be your first grade teacher for the remainder of the school year, here at Pea Ridge Elementary School.  I can't wait to start off the new year together. We are all going to have a blast!

Our Classroom

First off, this is OUR classroom. Both you and your child play a vial role in helping me build and maintain a safe and positive learning environment. Your help will always be appreciated as we start this new and exciting journey together. 

Our classroom will be a very fun and exciting place to learn. We will utilize any and all technology that is available, giving students an education in common technological uses, as well as a means of differentiating learning activities to meet the diverse needs of all students. Lastly, in our classroom, we will integrate music, art, and dance into our curriculum as a way to engage our minds in the learning process and to make learning more meaningful. This will provide each student with multiple opportunities to achieve high levels of academic success.

Communication

Communication is essential in our classroom. Each month I will send home a newsletter to update you on our classroom, as well as provide you with important information and school announcements. You can also visit our class website for weekly updates, pictures, helpful resources, and see everything that we are doing in our classroom.
